Social Media and Internet Marketing Combined?

You probably know Mike Filsaime? He’s a well known Internet marketer definitely with a nice history behind him. He isn’t one of those boring Internet marketers that is relaxing and you know doing nothing but the same stuff all time. Mike Filsaime is (quite often) trying some new stuff.

Now he have gone into the fight of all the Twitter apps. It’s still in the beta stages – but still worth to review.

A glide is a column in TweetGlide. TweetGlide has some custom glides like Home, sponsored tweets, direct messages, mentions.

When you use TweetGlide you can actually make lots of followers, just by using the application. Every tweet you get, will give you some coins and when you have enough coins you will be able to “buy” a sponsored tweet. Which means it will show up in the “Sponsored Tweet”-glide.

You get coin for each tweet you send, if you have the “Sponsored Tweet”-glide open. If you close it, you will not have be able to gain any coins. Actually, you only need to Tweet 5 times in 3 hours to get your ad shown. Of course there’s way for Mike Filsaime do get some money. You can also buy ads, if you need some instant traffic. The costs is $97 for 500 ad impressions.

This isn’t even the coolest thing in Tweet Glide. The coolest is that developers can make their own glides, which means you can publish glides to their “Glide App Store” (weird name, I’d just call it Glide Store anyway) – you can create a glide that shares Flickr pictures etc.

You can also create a group of people you want to see tweets from. This is nice if you want to follow a few people and just interact with them. It could be your family and very near friends etc.

There is also some MLM (multi level marketing) involved in this. If you refer 5 people, which refers another 5 people and so on (it’s 5 levels) you will at last point get (simple math) 780 people in you down-line, if each of these members tweeted with TweetGlide 5 times, your ad will be shown 780 times.

Also another (cool) thing added is that you can transfer all your credits to one account. Which means if you earn some credits from 2 of your accounts, but only want to spend them on one of your accounts – you will be able to transfer them.

Well I can tell you, that I look forward to the official version of TweetGlide, which also will have a complete redesign. This really can be the beautifulest Twitter app ever seen, just watch the TweetGlide home page. Stunning pictures, right?

Then if you have an iTouch or iPhone then you will be able to have TweetGlide with you, well at least sometime you will, when the App is finished you will be able to download it from Apple App Store, completely free of charge.

TweetGlide definitely is the next generation of Twitter apps. It sets a whole new standard, and everyone with a website/blog really should take advantage of this tool!
