How to Get Free Products Worth up to $1000

By Mikkel Juhl On August 31, 2009 2 Comments

I know a method that can give you free products even before they are launched. It requires two things from your blog:

  • You need lots of product reviews on your blog
  • Professional looking design

That is definitely one of the key factors when you are trying to get free products for reviews. When a product isn’t launched yet the person who created the product will probably request a testimonial and/or a review of the product you get.

In most cases there will be an affiliate program for you to join, so you can make money writing the review.

Remember 100 reviews aren’t enough, if these reviews are bad written. If they are you will not be taken seriously. So write some great written reviews.

20 great written reviews is much better than 100 poor written reviews. If you take your time, take it seriously and write great reviews your chances for getting the free products are greater.

When you seek the free products you should contact the companies/publishers, whilst your blog isn’t that big you shouldn’t require money to make a review. If your blog are big/well visited you should not contact companies and require money to make the review.

If you contact the company you should make the review for free, if you want to have the product for free.

Deciding Your Blog Platform

By Mikkel Juhl On August 18, 2009 11 Comments

Blogging can be awful if you choose the wrong blogging platform, I know many want to have a blog, that isn’t WordPress powered because they think it’s a newbie platform and because everybody else is using it. That may be your opinion, but it is not mine, it is not Darren Rowse’s, it is not Yaro Starak’s.

These bloggers are all professional bloggers, they really know their stuff. So I don’t think it is a newbie platform, almost every top blogger is using WordPress. There are many great blogging platforms, to choose. I started out with Blogger(blogspot) a couple years ago. Then I bought my own domain and decided to go for WordPress.

I have tried lots of blog platforms, the reason why I find WordPress the best is

  • Over 6,161 free plug-ins
  • Over 926 free themes
  • Easy to manage (to upload pictures, videos etc.)

Here is a list of competitive blogging platforms

What Is a Blog Buddy?

By Mikkel Juhl On August 16, 2009 5 Comments

This is the explanation to the question, that people have asked me a lot about. The question is:

I keep hearing everyone talking about, how nice it is to have a blog buddy, but what is a blog buddy?

There’s a lot who have asked me this question, so I think I’d be better to create a blog post about it, instead of making individual replies to everybody.

If you work with a blog mate, it’ll be a lot easier to build up your blog. You should try find someone who has the same passions as you. Then you can see each others blog grow up, while you’re giving feedback and support to the other blogger and the same thing in return.

Tour_De_France_2005_07_09There’s even a song, which says  “Two are stronger than one!” In this case it means, that there is lots of advantages if you work together as bloggers. It’s also possible to create a group network – Instead of blog mate it’s blog mates.

Here the song will go: “Five are stronger than one!

Okay, if you and another blogger decides to start two different blogs up, and you help his blog to get improved, and so in return.

So when two people already are working together on the same thing, you can also work on projects together. Produce products together, share links, resources,  guest post on each others blog.
