Promote your blog. That's one of the most important things to do. So promote your blog.

But don't go out and promote your blog to the top. Network with targeted people who might be interested in reading your blog.

Just network and promote. Maybe do some indirect promotion - Anyway, are you on Twitter?

Number 5 is great... if people find your advice valuable (in whatever way) they will keep coming back and they will promote for you. So that is a very important thing to remember. Always be as useful as you can.

Hi Mikkel

Interesting post. I've started a blog last month, an online journal of my experiences as a masked crime fighter.

I have no intention to monetise, I'm not interested in profiting, my goals are more altruistic. But I -am- interested in reaching out to a wide audience, to inspire them with the fact that I put the welfare of society ahead of my own personal safety.

So I guess I have a brand, and a story to tell. What are the important techniques for me to reach a broad audience ?

Your friend,

Captain Australia

Hi Mikkel,

This is such a great tips as for me, it is extremely important to build up our brand since the day one we set up our blog.

This is because with great brand, the process of promoting our site and pushing our site to greater extent will be way easier.

I definitely agree with the no 5 tip. The best investment that we can make for our site is giving value to our readers and put by putting a lot of efforts and time in creating great contents and give great rewards to our readers.

Unfortunately, most of the beginners are busy looking for traffics although there is nothing to give to those incoming traffics.

What do you think Mikkel?
